Servet & Figen Moran have been dancing, teaching tango and organizing workshops with the most famous tango masters in the world since 1998. Akademitango which is one of the biggest tango schools in Turkey, is continuing provide lots of opportunities to all tango lovers. Ezequiel and Geraldin are an outstanding couple who have brought their fine interpretation of the authentic Argentine Tango to numerous festivals, workshops and events around the world. Their talent as performers led them to take part in the most important shows in Buenos Aires ("Michelangelo", " El Querandi", "La Ventana", "Esquina Carlos Gardel"etc.). They also feature in various films, companies and documentaries such as "Tango Review" by Fransisco Calo, "Assassination Tango", directed by Robert Duval, "Je ne suis pas la' pour etre aime" directed by Stephane Brize, Festival Buenos Aires diagonal norte Milonga Street with Luis Salinas and Ruben Juarez "Forever Tango" by Luis Barvo, "Tus besos fueron mios" nominated Premio ACE 1999, Bersuit "Perro amor Explota" Luna Park Buenos Aires , "Alma de Tango" Japan by Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Music Hall "Corrientes Esquina Glamour" Corrientes Avenue BsAs by Gerardo Sofovich. Donato Juarez and Carolina del Rivero

Carolina del Rivero started dancing tango in 1995, and since the year 2000 Carolina travels around the world giving workshops and exhibitions. She took part as a master teacher and dancer in the "Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino" (C.I.T.A) -the world largest annual tango event that takes place in Buenos Aires every March-, from 2001 until 2008. Applying all her artistic knowledge from other dances, she brings to tango, style and elegance, as well as a profound understanding of the technique and dynamic of the dance, and also of the woman's role in it. She is one of the most renowned master teachers and performers in the world of Argentine Tango.

Donato Juarez is one of the most talented of the new generation of tango dancers in Argentina. Musical, elegant, precise, driven, Donato teaches tango as he dances it: with energy, passion and sensitivity. From his hometown of Mar del Plata in Argentina, he has been part of a group of enthusiastic young dancers that has continued to tirelessly explore the intricacies of this dance. He has studied with many renowned teachers who were quick to notice his impressive technical skills. Donato has been invited to international tango festivals in the United States, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Europe (Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Finland), and Mexico and has performed in many theaters in Argentina.

Sebastian Achaval & Roxana Suarez

After having walked through tango roads for more than 10 years, studying with the most representative teachers, completing their education with other dances and making tango a profession, they joined their ways to start a common career in February 2007. Since then they work giving group and private classes in renowned studies and milongas of Buenos Aires and they perform regularly in the city famous dance-floors. In addition they take part in festivals all around the world, making workshops and exhibitions. In a little time they have realized several international tours visiting Australia, Korea, Italy, Greece, Poland, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Brazil. About their style, they define themselves as dance-floor dancers because their dance is intimate and authentic, representing the tango experienced in Buenos Aires milongas in which feeling is the predominant dimension. It is a very personal style that combines a close but warm and comfortable embrace with the subtleness of figures and quality movements. They add to that the musical performance and the elegance that identify them in their walk. In each show ,either on a dance floor or a stage, they underline the essence and tradition of tango in its golden times, with a young and actual view.

Federico Naveira & Ines Muzzopappa

Federico Naveira and Ines Muzzopappa Federico Naveira started dancing at the tender age of four, and studied many different artistic disciplines as ballet, modern dance, theatra, music, etc., which gave him great knowledge and understanding of the dance. When he has ten he started to "work" as assistant next to his sister Ariadna at the "Tango con ninos" classes taught by his mother and teacher herself, Olga Besio, obtaining therefore a very enriching experience as teacher. At the age of 13 he became part of a group of teachers who taught all kinds of students, and since then he hasn't stopped working as a professional dancer and teacher of Tango Argentino. Between the enormous amount of works made with their sister we can find the Tangomagia festival in Amsterdam, the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA), the Pulpo's Tango Week, the Festival Internacional de Tango Ciudad de La Plata, and festivals organized by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, in addition to an outstanding work in the school Tango Brujo as teachers and as assistants to their mother's classes, added to a great amount of exhibitions in almost all milongas and several theaters of Buenos Aires. From the year 2007 Federico began to work with different companions, like Carolina Del Rivero, Mariela Sametband and Milena Plebs. In 2008, he was part of a group of young dancers with whom founded, directed and organized the Estudio Postango , where he stood out again like professor and dancer, generating in addition an important experience from a new point of view for his career. Ines Muzzopappa began her learning in tango of natural and spontaneous way at the age of 14 in the mythical Sunderland Club de Villa Urquiza. Among other things, Ines studied classic dance, song and music; elements that gave to a very good artistic formation and a deep development in the understanding of the dance. In 2007 obtained the 1st spot next to Dante Sanchez at the V. World-wide Championship of Argentine Tango in the category Tango Salon made in Buenos Aires, which allowed her to evolve like educator by starting to work as teaacher in different national and international festivals and in the most recognized Tango schools in Argentina. From her beginnings she has danced all over the Buenos Aires milongas, making presentations in almost all of them with different companions. In 2008 she was member of the group of young tangueros who founded, directed organized the Estudio Postango, and where also stood out like professor of this dance, generating and living a very important labor experience for her artistic and professional growth. Federico and Ines began to dance together in July 2008, in order to fuse their experiences and knowledge in tango and transform them in their own style of dance. In their short career together, they travelled to many different countries in Europe and America, making workshops, participating in festivals like the Pulpo' s Tango Week, CITA 2009, Tango [R] evolution 2009, Planetangos 2 and Austin' s Spring Tango Festival, and making presentations and seminaries in different milongas from Buenos Aires. At the moment they are preparing for their third tour together that will take them to Europe, North America and Asia.

Umut Karamollao?lu & Mine Akkoyun

Mine has started to her dance career in 1995 as a Latin American & Ballroom dancer. After 2 years, in 1997 she has started to dance Argentine Tango and in short period of time she has become one of he most leading tango dancers and teachers in Turkey. At the moment, she is teaching and performing Argentine Tango and organizing workshops & events in this dance discipline. She has been also running her own dance school SHINE DANCE STUDIO in Ankara,Turkey since 1999 which is the oldest dance school of Ankara. Umut has started to his dance career in SHINE DANCE STUDIO in 2005 as an Argentine Tango Dancer. At the moment, he is one the leading talents of new generation Argentine Tango dancers in Turkey and he is one of the most known Argentine Tango teachers in Turkey. Mine&Umut has decided to continue to their dance career together in 2006. They have worked with most famous and leading Argentine Tango teachers in Buenos Aires and in Turkey. Some of the important names they have been majorly and regularly working are such : Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, Chicho Frumboli&Juana Sepulveda, Mario Consiglieri&Anabella Hojman Diaz, Alejandro Larenas&Marisol Morales, Matias Facio&Kara Wenham. At the moment, they are one of the most known Argentine Tango teachers in Ankara as a couple. They are participating to many famous milongas & festivals as performers around Turkey regularly. In dancing, they look for high technical abilities and natural movement that comes out as a result of integration of traditional and new tango techniques. Their ability towards high musical qualities and their great intention to connection skills between partners result in a sensible & soft & inspiring style of dancing.

Panagiotis Papadelis & Vera Oikonomou

Sliding along with their professional and academic careers, Panos and Vera have been whole heartedly dedicating themselves to creating a tango community in the small isolated island of Lesvos, Greece. They have been inspired and taught by worldwide famous maestros in Buenos Aires and other cities like Athens, Amsterdam, Nejmegen, Istanbul, Berlin and Basel. Having Lesvos as their base, they have been teaching, organizing workshops, milongas and other events, together with the other “TangoLesvos” members and in cooperation with national and international professional dancers and musicians. Lately, they have done their first steps on the stage, performing in several dancing, theatrical and musical events in Lesvos, Athens, Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa and North Cyprus. Their ultimate goal is to keep exploring the everlasting potential of tango in its playful and passionate expression.





Mert Moran & Beliz Zorlu

Mert Moran is 17 years old. He started dancing first with latin dance sport when he was 7 years old. After having 7 years latin dance sport experience, he started dancing tango at Akademitango Ankara in 2008. He has participated lots of festival, private classes for his tango training and performed in Turkiye and Cyprus. He also performed in famous milongas as Villa Malcolm, Loca and with Orquesta El Afronte in Buenos Aires in 2009. Beliz Zorlu is 16 years old. She started dancing first with latin dance sport when she was 6 years old and then she started dancing tango at Akademitango Ankara in January 2010. Mert Moran & Beliz Zorlu are the youngest couple dancing tango salon in Turkiye. Their priority is musicality, originality and passion in their dance. They have being invited to festivals, workshops and milongas as performer since summer in 2010. Today, they continue to improve their tango with their trainers Servet & Figen Moran in Akademitango Ankara.


Utku Küley & Elif Ömüri?

Mtku Küley started his tango career in 2005 in one of the leading tango schools of Turkiye, El Encuentro. He gave seminars and displayed shows in Turkey and around the world. He displayed remarkable shows in Istanbul Tango Festival, Tango Magia Festival Amsterdam and International Tango Festival Wuppertal, Sabor del Tango Ukraine and in famous milongas of Buenos Aires, such as Salon Canning, Villa Malcolm, Milonga 10, Bendita Milonga. Among the maestros of attended seminars include Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes , Gustavo Naviera and Giselle Anne, Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda, and Javier Rodriguez. He works still as an instructor of El Encuentro. "Tango is the key of my brain which is opened to the eternity" Elif first became involved in Tango in Istanbul in 2007. Towards the end of that year, she met the teaching staff of El Encuentro, one of the leading schools in Turkey. There, she participated in the following international festivals, staging workshops and shows: International Istanbul Tango Festival, International Belgrade Tango Festival (Serbia), International Jordan Tango Festival, International Cyprus Tango Festival. A clear feature of Elif"s dance style incorporates both modern and traditional elements of Tango. Also in evidence are aesthetics, subtlety and musical interpretation."For me, Tango is as natural as breathing, as inaccessible as passion, and is all-encompassing in my life. I thoroughly enjoy expressing this message in both my dance and workshops"

Onur K?ra & Çi?dem Camgöz

Çi?dem Camgöz as begun performing her Argentina Tango activities since formation of Tango in Northern Cyprus in 2002. She moved to Istanbul to continue her educational process on Argentina Tango with Metin Yazir in 2003 and she has gained the opportunity to work with important Turkish and Argentina instructors both in Turkey and Europe during her education. She is doing as a professional instructor and performances since 2007. She currently performs as an instructor in Tangoist Dance Studio. Onur K?ra has begun to Argentina Tango in 2004. He continued his Tango education with Argantina Tango instructors Ayd?n Kocamusaoglu & Pelin Koyun in Tangoist Dance Studio. During his Argantina Tango education he assimilates that Tango is not only a dance, it is a communication and relation between two persons. He had an opportunity to work with important Argentina Dance instructors both in Turkey and Argentina. He currently performing as an instructor in Tangoist Dance Studio. Çi?dem Camgöz and Onur K?ra had won the TDSF Argentina Tango Championship of Turkey in November 2008. Camgoz and K?ra have attending many workshops and tango shows both domesticly and internationally. They based on couple’s own improvisation, musicality and communication in their dance. Çi?dem Camgöz and Onur K?ra have currently performs their Argentina Tango instructorship in Tangoist Dance Studio in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sexteto Milonguero

By the initiative of the singer Javier Di Ciriaco, and the wish recreating the typical music of the milongas from Buenos Aires, "The Sexteto Milonguero" was created in 2006. The style and the repertoire of Sexteto Milonguero is preferred by the milongueros of diverse latitudes.

With the format of typical tango sexteto: two violins (Marisol Canessa y Mariano Laplume), two bandoneons (Diego Braconi y Mauricio Jost) piano (Gervasio Ledesma) contrabass (Cristian Sepulveda) and singer (Javier Di Ciriaco) and integrated by young and experienced musicians, it begins thier intense and artistic work, standing out the presentations in;

Buenos Aires; Big National Milonga realized in the Av. de Mayo in December, 2007 along with important orchestras (Juan de Dios Filiberto, La orquesta de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires, Orquesta Escuela, Los Reyes del Tango) between the others.

Every night is different and the experience accumulated over the years allows me to adapt to the environment (Tango Alternativo, Cortinas of danceable music, theme selection). His personal artistic journey makes him comfortable to "present" events and to "acting" during the evening as needed
In 2001, after having completed his dance studies begun in 1998 with the the best Argentinean teachers, (Pupy Castello, Ricardo Barrios, El Pibe Sarand, Carlos Gavito, Julio Balmaceda y Corina de la Rosa, Roberto Herrera, Javer Rodriguez y Geraldine Rojas, Osvaldo y Coca) both in Italy and during his numerous trips to Buenos Aires, he also took up teaching. This line of my career continued in the following years teaming together with Veronica Lorenzoni with whom he founded the SCUOLA PURO TANGO: one of the most structured and dynamic academies of Argentinean Tango in Northern Italy.

Figen MORAN

Figen Moran, who is the organizator of the Ankara Tango Festival, is interested in tango since from 1998. She is both one of the founders and Ankara representative of TangoTurk foundation. Each year, she attends to the tango festivals which are Yunta Brava and Tango Ritual as a DJ. On the other hand Figen Moran is the organizer of Neva Palas Milonga Nights where she also performs as a DJ.

Figen Moran, who is the founder of AkademiTango, continues to give tango lessons and still keep on doing different tango organizations.



Emre Korkut OR

Emre Korkut OR is founder of Tangoport web portal which is very well know by all tanguero/as. He has been dancing tango for many years and has a large and valueble tango music collection. He is the one of the most demanded name who is invited by many organizers from Turkiye. He mostly selects tangos, milongas and valses of golden era and uses cortinas.





Panagiotis PAPADELIS

Panos is one of the founding members of Tangolesvos located in the capital of Lesvos, Mytilene (Greece). Besides performing and teaching tango, listening to tango music and sharing it with other people is very important for him. He is djing since 2006, having tango"s vast music library as his inspiration, in the same way that tango’s endless steps inspire a dancer. Favourite orchestras: Fresedo, D`arienzo and Di sarli especially the "viejo" era.


Mark SAMUEL

Mark Samuel has been into tango since 2003 and has been performing as a DJ since 2007. He is the founder of Milonga Lebanon through which he gives regular tango classes & workshops in Lebanon and organizes tango events on a regional scale.
Mark has participated in many international festivals and has gained a profound experience not just as a dancer but also as a DJ whereby he learned about the various musical groups and began to identify the influences on different orchestras in Buenos Aires throughout the golden age of tango. With this knowledge, Mark introduces a combination of tandas and cortinas in a way to energize the dance floor all in all boosting the positive atmosphere of the milonga.
Besides being a DJ, Mark is the organizer of the weekly El Corazon Milonga in Beirut which is one of the most popular milongas in the Middle East & has performed as a dancer in different festivals.

Utku KÜLEY

Utku has began DJing in 2007 next to Aydogan Arkis With El Encuentro Dalyan Milonga ( Istanbul ), he became guest DJ in Istanbul, Ankara, Cyprus and BsAs as well by 2009.
He also Djed one of the most important festival in Europe, TangoMagia 2010 for 3 nights by special invitation.
His other festivals that he DJed at are Sabor Del Tango Festival ( Ukraine, 2010 ), El Tangon ( 2009 - 2010 ), La Viruta ( BsAs ), Practica X ( BsAs ), Villa Malcolm ( BsAs ), International IstanbulTango Festival ( 2008-2009-2010 )
He is the 1st. DJ in Turkey, who used grammophone, with original records.
He likes to play, Carlos Di Sarli, Miguel Calo, Rodolfo Biagi, Tipica Victor, Juan Darienzo and Osvaldo Fresedo most.
He admires Alberto PODESTA , Roberto Rufino , Roberto Ray , Raul Beron , Carlos Acuna , Angel Vargas , Hector Maure , Jorge Valdez , Alberto Moran ve Carlos GARDEL as a solist.
