Akademitango which is one of the biggest tango schools in Turkey, is continuing provide lots of opportunities to all tango lovers. Ezequiel and Geraldin are an outstanding couple who have brought their fine interpretation of the authentic Argentine Tango to numerous festivals, workshops and events around the world. Their talent as performers led them to take part in the most important shows in Buenos Aires ("Michelangelo", " El Querandi", "La Ventana", "Esquina Carlos Gardel"etc.). They also feature in various films, companies and documentaries such as "Tango Review" by Fransisco Calo, "Assassination Tango", directed by Robert Duval, "Je ne suis pas la' pour etre aime" directed by Stephane Brize, Festival Buenos Aires diagonal norte Milonga Street with Luis Salinas and Ruben Juarez "Forever Tango" by Luis Barvo, "Tus besos fueron mios" nominated Premio ACE 1999, Bersuit "Perro amor Explota" Luna Park Buenos Aires , "Alma de Tango" Japan by Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Music Hall "Corrientes Esquina Glamour" Corrientes Avenue BsAs by Gerardo Sofovich. They have produced their own show "Trasnoche Tangueril" featuring Jose Colangelo, the last pianist who worked with Anibal Troilo, Ariel Ardit, Marcela Rios, Daniel Falasca.

Donato Juarez and Carolina del Rivero

Carolina del Rivero started dancing tango in 1995, and since the year 2000 Carolina travels around the world giving workshops and exhibitions. She took part as a master teacher and dancer in the "Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino" (C.I.T.A) -the world largest annual tango event that takes place in Buenos Aires every March-, from 2001 until 2008. Applying all her artistic knowledge from other dances, she brings to tango, style and elegance, as well as a profound understanding of the technique and dynamic of the dance, and also of the woman's role in it. She is one of the most renowned master teachers and performers in the world of Argentine Tango.

Donato Juarez is one of the most talented of the new generation of tango dancers in Argentina. Musical, elegant, precise, driven, Donato teaches tango as he dances it: with energy, passion and sensitivity. From his hometown of Mar del Plata in Argentina, he has been part of a group of enthusiastic young dancers that has continued to tirelessly explore the intricacies of this dance. He has studied with many renowned teachers who were quick to notice his impressive technical skills. Donato has been invited to international tango festivals in the United States, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Europe (Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Finland), and Mexico and has performed in many theaters in Argentina.

Sebastian Achaval & Roxana Suarez

After having walked through tango roads for more than 10 years, studying with the most representative teachers, completing their education with other dances and making tango a profession, they joined their ways to start a common career in February 2007. Since then they work giving group and private classes in renowned studies and milongas of Buenos Aires and they perform regularly in the city famous dance-floors. In addition they take part in festivals all around the world, making workshops and exhibitions. In a little time they have realized several international tours visiting Australia, Korea, Italy, Greece, Poland, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Brazil. About their style, they define themselves as dance-floor dancers because their dance is intimate and authentic, representing the tango experienced in Buenos Aires milongas in which feeling is the predominant dimension. It is a very personal style that combines a close but warm and comfortable embrace with the subtleness of figures and quality movements. They add to that the musical performance and the elegance that identify them in their walk. In each show ,either on a dance floor or a stage, they underline the essence and tradition of tango in its golden times, with a young and actual view.

Federico Naveira & Ines Muzzopappa

Federico Naveira and Ines Muzzopappa Federico Naveira started dancing at the tender age of four, and studied many different artistic disciplines as ballet, modern dance, theatra, music, etc., which gave him great knowledge and understanding of the dance. When he has ten he started to "work" as assistant next to his sister Ariadna at the "Tango con ninos" classes taught by his mother and teacher herself, Olga Besio, obtaining therefore a very enriching experience as teacher. At the age of 13 he became part of a group of teachers who taught all kinds of students, and since then he hasn't stopped working as a professional dancer and teacher of Tango Argentino. Between the enormous amount of works made with their sister we can find the Tangomagia festival in Amsterdam, the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA), the Pulpo's Tango Week, the Festival Internacional de Tango Ciudad de La Plata, and festivals organized by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, in addition to an outstanding work in the school Tango Brujo as teachers and as assistants to their mother's classes, added to a great amount of exhibitions in almost all milongas and several theaters of Buenos Aires. From the year 2007 Federico began to work with different companions, like Carolina Del Rivero, Mariela Sametband and Milena Plebs. In 2008, he was part of a group of young dancers with whom founded, directed and organized the Estudio Postango , where he stood out again like professor and dancer, generating in addition an important experience from a new point of view for his career. Ines Muzzopappa began her learning in tango of natural and spontaneous way at the age of 14 in the mythical Sunderland Club de Villa Urquiza. Among other things, Ines studied classic dance, song and music; elements that gave to a very good artistic formation and a deep development in the understanding of the dance. In 2007 obtained the 1st spot next to Dante Sanchez at the V. World-wide Championship of Argentine Tango in the category Tango Salon made in Buenos Aires, which allowed her to evolve like educator by starting to work as teaacher in different national and international festivals and in the most recognized Tango schools in Argentina. From her beginnings she has danced all over the Buenos Aires milongas, making presentations in almost all of them with different companions. In 2008 she was member of the group of young tangueros who founded, directed organized the Estudio Postango, and where also stood out like professor of this dance, generating and living a very important labor experience for her artistic and professional growth. Federico and Ines began to dance together in July 2008, in order to fuse their experiences and knowledge in tango and transform them in their own style of dance. In their short career together, they travelled to many different countries in Europe and America, making workshops, participating in festivals like the Pulpo' s Tango Week, CITA 2009, Tango [R] evolution 2009, Planetangos 2 and Austin' s Spring Tango Festival, and making presentations and seminaries in different milongas from Buenos Aires. At the moment they are preparing for their third tour together that will take them to Europe, North America and Asia.

Fabian Peralta & Virginia Pandolfi

Fabian and Virgina have been working together for only 3 years now. Separately, they have developed their carreers in different ways but there's been always a common goal between them.Fabian, on his own, was dancer of the national folkloric ballet, he worked in almost all tango houses of Buenos Aires. He also ran his own company: "Corporacion Tango" and he was the tango world champion back in 2006. Virginia, on the other hand, joined the staff of the municipal ballet of tango and folklore of Cordoba City, and was also member of the workshop of provincial dances. She won during 2 consecutive years the representation of her city in the World Tango Championship and has worked with many companies of Cordoba City. Fabian and Virginia met in the milonga and they've stayed together ever after. They've found in each other what they were just both looking for. They started working in the prestigious tango house "LA VENTANA", and immediately after, they joined the staff of TANGO X 2. At the moment, and since they started working together, they have been travelling all around the world giving courses in workshops and participating in different festivals around Europe, North America and Asia. In Buenos Aires, they artistically work as teachers, dancers and choreographers. They also participate as judges during official competitions related to the World Tango Championship. Their style mainly stands out for the musicality, elegance and picaresque kind of dance so typical of them. What they do is salon-style, with close embrace and a strong milonguero-style influence. Among them, another matter related to love, energy, and the connection that flows in each tango shines through, turning each exhibition into a unique experience not only for them but also for everyone who sees their show.

Sexteto Milonguero

By the initiative of the singer Javier Di Ciriaco, and the wish recreating the typical music of the milongas from Buenos Aires, "The Sexteto Milonguero" was created in 2006. The style and the repertoire of Sexteto Milonguero is preferred by the milongueros of diverse latitudes.

With the format of typical tango sexteto: two violins (Marisol Canessa y Mariano Laplume), two bandoneons (Diego Braconi y Mauricio Jost) piano (Gervasio Ledesma) contrabass (Cristian Sepulveda) and singer (Javier Di Ciriaco) and integrated by young and experienced musicians, it begins thier intense and artistic work, standing out the presentations in;

Buenos Aires; Big National Milonga realized in the Av. de Mayo in December, 2007 along with important orchestras (Juan de Dios Filiberto, La orquesta de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires, Orquesta Escuela, Los Reyes del Tango) between the others.

Congress of the Nation Argentina, Golden Lounge of the House of the Culture, National Academy of Tango, Institute Goethe, in the milongas; La Ideal, UniTango, Mi milonga, Soho Tango, La Viruta, Parakultural, Italia Unita, Salon Canning, Tango Cool, Tango Ideal, La Baldosa, etc.

DJs

Figen MORAN

Figen Moran, who is the organizator of the Ankara Tango Festival, is interested in tango since from 1998. She is both one of the founders and Ankara representative of TangoTurk foundation. Each year, she attends to the tango festivals which are Yunta Brava and Tango Ritual as a DJ. On the other hand Figen Moran is the organizer of Neva Palas Milonga Nights where she also performs as a DJ.

Figen Moran, who is the founder of AkademiTango, continues to give tango lessons and still keep on doing different tango organizations.



Serdar SUNGAR

Serdar Sungar, who is one of the founders and Istanbul representative of TangoTurk foundation, is interested in Argentina Tango since from 1997. He is the organizer and one of the DJ of the Istanbul Tango Ritual, which takes place in every year in Istanbul. On the other hand, he is arranging two milonga nights in a week which are Armada (on Monday) and Levent Milonga (on Friday). He is also attending to these milongas as a DJ.




Luca LAMBERTI

Luca Lamberti, Starts dance tango in 2000 and djing in 2005 in Rome. Works in milongas in Roma since 2005, and since 2009 in Berlin London Stockolm. He worked in festivals like tangocamp Italy-Greece-Sweeden, festival gustavo e giselle palermo, siciliatangofestival, arealidades stockolm, x-tango festival Rome. Is organising the tangocamp Italy festival since 2009.






Alexandra Kotelnitskaya (Dj Tangess)

Alexandra Kotelnitskaya (Dj Tangess) She always knows what tango to play now. And what cortina should change the atmosphere for the next tanda. All the best tangos from the Golden Age will sound differently with her. She will share her joy and energy with you - DJ Tangess, from the most beautiful Ukranian city L'vov.





Cenker UZUN

Cenker Uzun DJs at various milongas and special events in Istanbul. He thinks that the responsibility of the DJ is to "read" the crowd. Moreover, the DJ should give a sample of Tango from the '30s , '40s & '50s. His favourite orchestras are D'Arienzo, Di Sarli, Canaro, Biagi, Fresedo, Donato, Lomuto, and others from the 1930s-1950s. Usually attempts to recreate the spirit of the traditional milongas.In general fast rhythms (Milongas & Valses) are played 1/2 as much as tangos.
